5 years ago the story of Zen’s Chill Lounge & Trendy Grooves started. Inspired by lounge stations from the hottest cities on the planet and driven by the absence of a music station with a unique sound in Flanders, ZenFM was born. Founder of ZenFm, Youri Beaumont: “The idea for the station came when I was on holiday in Saint-Tropez. The Italian radio station RMC2 was playing non-stop chill music at the time and I was very impressed”.
After a few years broadcasting over a small frequency in Ghent, ZenFm nowadays reaches the city of Ghent and its surroundings, broadcasting over the bigger and better 102.8 fm frequency. More importantly, ZenFM reaches a global audience over the livestream online, with hundreds of people from all over the world tuning in to the station on a daily basis.
