Vibra<\/b> is a <\/span>radio station<\/span> in <\/span>Bogot\u00e1<\/span> company <\/span>Radi\u00f3polis \/ WV Radio<\/span>, owned by <\/span>William Vinasco Ch.<\/span> Born in the <\/span>eighties<\/span> with the name of <\/span>Aquarius Stereo<\/span> (then affiliated with <\/span>Caracol Radio<\/span> ) on the frequency 104.9 <\/span>FM<\/span> (Aquarius Stereo would be “resuscitated “in 2013, but in the AM band).<\/span><\/p>\n

From that time, the programs “The night of the pencils” and <\/span>“Skabanana”<\/span>, led by <\/span>F\u00e9lix Sant-Jordi<\/span>, stand out as memorable. On October 21, 2003, the station was renamed <\/span>Vibra Bogot\u00e1<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

With a new concept and basing its musical programming in the <\/span>official language of Colombia<\/span>, and through a great promotional and branding effort, it managed to get in tune with stations that had been on the air for more than 5 years and that belong to gigantic economic conglomerates. In Colombia. Vibra uses the radio formula of <\/span>rock<\/span>, <\/span>pop<\/span> , fusion, and <\/span>tropipop music<\/span>, exclusively in Spanish, and during the period between 2002 and 2006, it also gave space to electronic music sets worldwide on weekends in a program called ‘Estaci\u00f3n Ibiza’ directed by DJ Hector Carrero.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2006, WV Radio entered into an economic agreement with <\/span>Caracol Radio<\/span> so that this company would take care of the commercialization of its 3 <\/span>Radiopolis<\/span> stations (Before WV Radio): Vibra Bogot\u00e1, <\/span>Candela Est\u00e9reo<\/span> and <\/span>Acuario Est\u00e9reo<\/span> (previously <\/span>Radio Reloj<\/span> ). The programming of the stations would continue in the hands of <\/span>Radi\u00f3polis<\/span> (Before WV Radio) and its creative team headed by <\/span>Karen Vinasco<\/span>. Vibra Bogot\u00e1 with its format has managed to become one of the most listened to stations in the capital of Colombia, being the only station in the city in its combination of genres.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of 2014, the Vibra station for Valle del Cauca goes on the air on the 91.0 FM frequency, located in the municipality of Guacari with coverage in Cali and surrounding municipalities, its programming was based on Latin pop, salsa, and ballads; but on May 1, 2016, it was replaced by Valle Verde 91.0 FM.<\/span><\/p>\n
