D100 HK Radio transmits Chinese songs. Although their main genre of choice is Politics , Current Affairs. Its main vision is to play what their listeners want to listen or if saying the other way what their audience would like to listen.
The D100 is an internet radio station in Hong Kong founded by Lam Yuk-Wah, Albert Cheng and Maurice Ho. Albert Cheng was asked to establish the D100 due to a dispute over the conduct of the Digital Broadcasting Corporation (DBC).
Other shareholders refused to invest in the station as planned, and leaked recordings suggested that this was due to the liaison office’s intervention in Cheng’s decision to hire a pro-democracy radio host. Cheng thus left the station to search for the D100 DBC was closed in 2016.
