Culture War Radio
Culture War Radio:
A culture war is a cultural conflict between social groups and the struggle for dominance of their values, beliefs, and practices. It commonly refers to topics on which there is general societal disagreement and polarization in societal values.
The term is commonly used to describe aspects of contemporary politics in the United States, with issues such as abortion, homosexuality, transgender rights, pornography, multiculturalism, racial viewpoints and other cultural conflicts based on values, morality, and lifestyle which are described as the major political cleavage.
Culture War Radio is an ongoing open and free-form conversation with guests to provide as many perspectives as possible about what makes for a healthy culture (wiki.culturewar.us), supplemented with a weekly review of the news mixed with music. Hosted by William Maggos and launched in March 2019, the live call-in show (live.culturewar.us) streams from Downers Grove, IL on Sunday nights at 9pm CST till midnight, with the full unedited audio then released as a podcast (radio.culturewar.us).
