Ministerios Promesa:

Ministerios Promesa is a mission organization serving the United States and Mexico border for more than 20 years. We are committed to bringing the love of Christ to those who need it most, no matter where they are. Ministerios Promesa operates in many cities along the US-Mexican border, including Calexico, El Centro, Mexicali, Tecate, and Tijuana.

Ministerios Promesa also reaches out into remote villages such as Las Palmas de Abajo with assistance like food distributions and giving supplies to pastors when needed. Ministerios Promesa believes in helping people become self-sufficient, so Ministerios Promesa is committed to teaching the communities we serve how to provide for themselves.

Ministerios Promesa has been a blessing not only to our neighbors across the border but also to those who live here in California and throughout the United States with the assistance that includes items such as food and clothing distributions, English classes, Bible studies every Saturday at La Roca Church of God or Sunday school programs.

Ministerios Promesa has a solid and active ministry in Tijuana. Ministerios Promesa provides food, shelter, clothing, medical care to children suffering from malnutrition or who have been abandoned by their parents because of poverty or violence-related issues within the home.

Ministerios Promesa also assists orphaned minors with finding homes when they can no longer be cared for at the Shelter “Las Vegas”. Ministerios Promesa is helping provide educational opportunities through scholarships awarded to high school students that will lead them into higher learning institutions such as vocational schools and universities throughout Mexico. At Ministerios Promesa, we believe that every child should have an opportunity to pursue his dreams, so we commit ourselves to help those young people who need us most

Las Palmas de Abajo Tecate, Calexico and El Centro California. Recently due to an increase in violence-related crime within Tijuana, we have been reaching out into other towns or cities in Baja California, such as Mexicali, where there is a need for our assistance.

Ministerios Promesa has also expanded its reach into Tecate because its children suffer from malnutrition, just like many parts of rural Mexico. We believe that every child deserves food, so we work with pastors who will distribute rice, beans, and oil to those in need.

God has blessed Ministerios Promesa with many partners who have helped us give hope to the people we serve through their generous contributions of food, clothing, and school supplies like notebooks or pencils.
