WVTC 90.7 FM:

WVTC is a campus radio station broadcasting at 90.7 MHz on the FM band and streaming online. WVTC has been in operation since 1996 and offers its listeners more than just music: WVTC also broadcasts news updates from WCAX-TV 3 Vermont’s CBS affiliate, local high school sporting events with play-by-play commentary. WVTC sportscasters and weather reports from WCAX meteorologists! WVTC also has its website, Wvtc.net, which features an online request form for listeners to pick the music they want to hear! WVTC’s WebDJ automation system allows users worldwide to become DJs via their personal computers – it lets YOU be the DJ!

WVTC is the radio station of Vermont Technical College, operating on a 90.7 MHz FM carrier with an adequate power of 300 watts. The station is located in Morey Hall on the Randolph Center campus. WVTC is operated and maintained by the students of VTC through the Radio Club and is financially supported by VTC Student Council. WVTC is a professional station, and WCAX-TV in South Burlington provides news updates on the hour. WVTC is also an online radio station that has been streaming since 1996!
